About Michelle
Bio
I used to think that investing was gambling, so I avoided it. I also opened my first Roth IRA into a CD at a credit union--I didn't know to invest the money (nor how)! I eventually learned better, and now I get to help others learn from my mistakes (no judgement here). I am an educator at heart, with many years of experience supporting first-gen and limited-income college students. My passion for helping my students understand money eventually led me to teach a college course, open a financial education business, and finally leave education to become a financial advisor. I LOVE supporting others towards their money goals, especially helping them understand what they need to know about money to use it to intentionally create a life that they are genuinely excited to live. Money is not an end goal in itself, but it can buy freedom! So let’s start with your values and goals, then figure out the money strategies (and support) that you can use to make that happen (and automate it)!

I'm a mom of 2 living in Oregon. I love to travel, hike, bake, camp, and be in water. My kids are 5 and 8, and I'm finally starting to take them traveling (I'm all about intentional spending, not just saving/investing!). I just took my kids on an epic 3 week Costa Rica trip. Corcovado, sloths, monkeys, pools, cloud forests, hanging bridges, river floats, beaches, Spanish, ziplining... it was amazing! [I have limited availability in spring of 2026, more after July!]
